Educational Resources

An important element of the Copper Basin Project comes from Glenn Springs Holdings' parent company, Occidental Petroleum Corporation's firm commitment to good corporate citizenship in communities where it does business. Glenn Springs exemplifies the best practices by providing support to local educators. Scholarships, grants, student projects, community meetings and project updates are some of the ways Glenn Springs is helping raise community awareness.

Copper Basin High School recently benefited from a company-wide computer upgrade by Glenn Springs Holdings' parent company, Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Twenty-two refurbished computers and software packages were donated to the school, which was in need of new computers. In addition, in January, 2004, Glenn Springs and Occidental Petroleum donated 50 refurbished PCs, along with educational software, to the Turtletown and Ducktown Elementary Schools.
